Community Education was established in 1984 to promote involvement of all the citizens of our community in our schools by providing a variety of lifelong learning opportunities for each individual.  Dedicated to the idea that the school is the center of the community, Northside opens its doors in the "non-traditional" hours to encourage our community members to participate in classes that will enrich their lives personally and professionally.  In order to inform the community of their lifelong learning opportunities, the Adult and Community Education Program produces a publication three times per year featuring hundreds of exciting classes for both adults and children in a variety of categories.

With 24 years of experience in the Lifelong Learning field, we feel a strong commitment in providing a variety of educational opportunities and support services to strengthen our community members and to help increase their potential success. 

Because of our dedication to providing high quality classes, Northside Independent School Districts Community Education program is regarded as one of the most successful programs in the state.
